A photography nut since my first camera. Anyone remember the Swinger? It was a Polaroid designed for kids. Then my first 35mm, a used Pentax. No built in light meter but I shot some of my best photos with an old handheld meter. High School photo class and great work in black and white and my own little darkroom.

Then, regrettably, years of mostly snapshots. Lots and lots and lots of snapshots. I've been eager to get serious about my photography again for several years now and am super excited to discover Flickr. So many incredible photographers actively involved. So many to learn from and so many threads with tips and assignments.

I admit it. I am another flickr junkie.
