– When I was a Child…

Since was a child. I was always attracted to anything that was image. I liked to watch anything was hanging on a wall. I remember a oldest bild in the waiting room of my doctor:

There was painting a landscape with green pine trees and snowy mountains. was a common framework, but I found it delicious. A few years late, I was fascinated by stones and bottles painted in a naive style in a shop window. - In the Summer (1982)

In the summer, some friends went around the countryside with paints, brushes, cardboard and painted outdoors. I prefer to paint with watercolors because I liked the delicate shades.. Paint was good fun but also became a study and and this was also for several summers. When he entered the Academy of Fine Arts and I did give my parents a camera: Fujca. Painting, drawing but also photography fascinated me, after all, it was always to create images.

From then until now, the camera has always accompanied me during the study, the holiday and travel. Then the photo was made on film and so I learned the technique of developing and printing in the darkroom, but generally I preferred to use the slides for the richness and brilliance of the colors, as well as in painting..

- Photo Memories

For many years, I used the camera for my free time with my friends and my travels, for my studies: I used the camera as notebook for to produce my painting and drawings. In those years, I studied in the Academy of the fine arts and while preparing for exams in photography, I realized that photography was not only "technical", certainly is a beautiful form of visual expression and thought that I could use the photography as an alternative to my painting. But it was not easy, I have long studied the difficult practice of black and white developing and printing in the darkroom. But I have also neglected the technique of color that fascinated me more. I pledged in experiments very personal, this work liked also to my professors and they also produced an exhibition. I presented a series of works in which I painted directly on my developed film with the colors in china and after printing on large format.

- In the digital Age

Many years have past since my first exposure, in the coming years I have done so many experiences with the painting and the photography almost always pleasant and constructive. my work at school became increasingly challenging, required more energy and so I could not devote myself to my art- works. In the meantime the market will begin to see the first models of digital cameras, computers, scanners, photo editing program for and the market for analogue photos disappear within few years. Obviously I was always interested in all this change and I was equipped with computers, camera and more, things have changed since then already obsolete.

- Now, I want to paint, take pictures and spend most of my time on these things. The work in school, do not always allow me to take care of my artistic work. So often when I get home tired, I prefer to lie down on a couch and listen to classical music or watch a movie on TV. I know that is not quite so good but I find that after several years at school I feel that this work together with all the different daily problems is becoming increasingly stressful. But as soon as I have a little free time I take my camera and go around the fields, also seek contact with nature ....
