Brass Tacks is a registered charity which for 20 years has been ‘serving those who serve' by providing practical support for Christian building projects. We have full time workers as well as over 80 volunteers who have worked on 150 projects in 37 different countries.
The aim of Brass Tacks is to relieve missionaries and full time Christian workers of their maintenance and building work. This has included building new or extend existing schools, camps, church buildings, children's homes, hospitals and recording studios. Another aim of Brass Tacks is to encourage Christians by involving them in mission work
Our volunteers go out in short time work parties offering their time for a particular project ranging from 2-3 weeks in duration up to 3 months. Volunteers include trade craftsmen and DIY enthusiasts who are able to take leave from their employment, or those who have already recently retired.
