In theory, lighting you may be able to control, Composition is there for you to manipulate. Connection to the subject , have a meaningful dialogue.... I find is the most difficult

The cliché a picture tells a thousand words ( ask me and I can tell when it was taken ...etc..) but it does not “reveal everything completely”, the emotions of joy, sadness, happiness or sorrow, ..................
