Back into Barbies after many years hiatus. I was born in 1961 and had them as a girl. My first Barbie was one we called "Wig Barbie." She had the crazy, pink headdress, set of wigs, pink bathing suit (still have!) and the swing, but I don't remember open and close eyes. I managed to keep just a few things. I am rebuilding my childhood collection and adding those things I wanted, but didn't get, and also things that look cool.

I love thifting and antiques. I like curating my collection, but also seeing what I get in grab bags and lots.

I also enjoy sewing and fashion design and plan to come up with some creations of my own in the style of the Mod Era. I also love the elegant designs of the 50's and early 60's; Hats, gloves, heels, bags, and that hourglass silhouette. All dreamy!!
