Rescued History is a project of Family Papers Consultants, an archive consulting company in Salt Lake City, UT. We are attempting to post old photos, negatives, slides of unknown people, bygone events, and old postcards to share these lost ephemeral photos and messages from by gone eras.

Please comment and identify people, places, and events. These images are set to the public domain (unless not allowed) so that anyone may save the photos.

Document scans are uploaded at archival quality: 600 dpi .tiff format.

Photo negative scans are uploaded at archival quality: 3200 dpi .tiff format in 16 bit grayscale and 48 bit color.

Photos will major defects will have them edited out, and appropriate adjustments are made for color fading in photographs.
