As both an archivist and a filmmaker, much of my photography centers around the concepts and challenges I regularly encounter in both fields. I find myself, more often than not, interested in process rather than subject. I am not glued down to one method or workflow with my image creation, I am constantly trying new things and learning new (or, in many cases, old) techniques. Although my heart will always belong to film, I embrace whatever technology comes my way. For me, photography in this modern world is a synthesis of all that was and all that is.

Many of the images you will find here are not necessarily reflections of my best work in my nearly decade-long love affair with a camera - rather, these pictures represent some of my favorite experiments.
