I've lived above Johnson Creek near Leach Botanical Garden in Portland, Oregon for the past thirty years. Having finally found the time or the good sense, since retiring, I am able to look more carefully in my own back yard. My bird photographs began as a way to better identify whatever birds flew into my yard and have expanded to videos to capture their behaviors.
