Character design is the area i focused my time and effort on the most, trying to master human anatomy as well as posing as it aids in my characters looking more interesting and dynamic. Due to this these became my strongest points. Through my experimentation with different forms of media, i learned to use a variety such watercolour, digital art and markers which i was able to create different atmospheres and textures with within my artworks.
This is also the website i created for my BTEC course, I used art and animation to target the audience of children.
Anime is where majority of my inspiration comes from. Masashi Kishimoto's art style is where i began working from and used the experience to slowly developed my own, Recently I've been trying to combine my art style with a western look, it's a work in progress but its turning into a style I am proud of. After anime, in the recent years many amazing games have been coming out, such as "Cuphead" for example. I've always wanted to learn more about the behind of games and make my own however after that game i began to dream more of making 2D games that are drawn by hand and animated frame by frame just like Cuphead was. Its just so aesthetically pleasing to look at, as well as visibly seeing that someone drew all of that frame by frame.
