I'm Rebecca Joye. I'm a portrait / fine art / nature photographer, living in the woods of South Carolina and have acres and acres of land to roam. My photography is inspired by a number of things. I love texture, color, small detail and most of all, nature. I really enjoy the thrill of the "hunt," or trying to find that perfect shot. Sometimes it just involves a simple studio set-up...sometimes I'm searching for it on a long walk through the woods...and other times, I'm covered head-to-toe in camo, having to wait for the perfect photo opportunity to come along. Either way, I'm doing what I love...and I want my photos to show that.

Besides photography, I also like making jewelry, handbound books, sewing, painting with watercolors, journaling, and in general, making anything I can by hand rather than buying it.
