I'm an overworked 48 year old (or, as my wife puts it - a grumpy old man!) who uses photography as a way to relax and enjoy life.

I thoroughly enjoy my photography, whether its of people or places or anything else. I know that I am not the best photographer in the world but I am enthusiastic and genuine and -as I am sure you can tell from my Photostream - I like to photograph anything and everything!And I like to share.

So, if you don't have any photos to show me please do not add me as a contact or if you feel the urge to make unecessarily derogatory or insulting comments about my work or my subjects (especially my human subjects) please resist the urge as I will just block you. That is not what Flickr is about. Having said that I am not afraid of constructive criticism if it might help to improve my photography in the future. If you add any of my photos to your favourites please comment on them first.

Flickr is about celebrating the joy of photography of all kinds and on all levels and I look forward to doing that with as many of you as possible.

I don't mind if you use my travel photos elsewhere but would ask that you acknowledge them to me. If you want to use any of the pictures of my wife please contact me first to ask for permission. Unless it's for nefarious purposes I will generally agree quite readily to any requests.
