I'm a 30s-something biologist and birder and really know nothing about photography whatsoever. I currently use a Nikon D3300 and 70-300 mm lens, and to my amazement every once in a while I get a shot that isn't absolutely terrible. Maybe one day I'll take the time to figure out what to do behind a camera lens, but in the meantime here's what I've got...
