Hi. A while ago, I acquired a second hand D300, which led to me joining a camera club. For over a year I fumbled with its many controls and viewed the resultant, blurry pictures with horror, but then, bit by bit, I managed to produce something worth looking at. Joining a photographic club helped, and fortunately, I have a very good one nearby. Now I can't wait to get home and view my pictures. Since taking up photography, I find myself viewing my surroundings with more interest, in that I notice shape, colour and texture, expressions of people, their situations and so many other things. I feel that, before photography, I had been walking round with my eyes shut!

I now tend to use a Fuji X-T2, which is amazing.
