Though I no longer spend nearly as much time, money, or attention on my photography, I feel a deep gratitude for the craft as it has extended beyond my personal investment. The art of photography has been a gift in many forms-- through my loved ones and mentors who saw my potential and shared with me their knowledge and old photography equipment to use as outlets for my creativity, and through the deeply enrichingly grounding experience that is simply observing one's environment. My intention was once to use this Flickr account to display my photographic progress, though unexpectedly it has shaped up to serve as a beautiful reflection of the wonders of my life through its seasons.
