I have only recently discovered Lee's work here on flickr and have been truly astounded by his imagery. This is the work of an artist in the purest form and one who will be admired as one of the greats in time to come. No doubt, his artistic portrayal of the human soul and emotion is at the top of the league and flickr is privileged to have his works displayed on here. By sharing his work, LJ is both captivating an immense audience and inspiring generations of aspiring photographers, me included. If there was ever a book waiting to be published, here is all the ingredient to fill many, many pages of a rare and gifted artist 's contribution to the depths of the human soul. Long may he continue. Darren Miller ACO/GBCT

Provo a spiegarmi.

Read more

Lee deserves a poem, If I was a poet I'd certainly write one...Or if I was an English I'd "produce" at least some fluent testimonial for him. I can only say that there is the one of the most beautiful and touching Portrait Gallery I've ever seen. Here. on Flickr. And it's his.

Always astonished, always intrigued by your portraits. They manage to show a glimpse of a story, a slice of a life...you have that rare gift of capturing the souls. I sincerely hope that these beautiful close ups will be immortalized in a fabulous book very soon! Let me know, it will be a priority on my list!

O if you don't want incredible, painterly, haunting street portraiture seared into your memory, don't look at L.J.s stream. Spellbinding and unforgetable and inspiring. EASILY one of the best street portrait artists there is (or at least that I've seen) not just on flickr. Anywhere. An epic stream.

Once in a great while, an image comes along that stops you in your tracks and makes your heart flutter a little faster, your eyes widen, and you notice that you just "gasped" at the very sight of you just saw. This is what happened the first time I saw one of LJ's pictures. True story! As one of my favorite photographers on Flickr...or anywhere, he never disappoints me. You can learn lighting, you can learn how to process a photo.....and you can even nail the technical stuff, but very few can show us emotion the way that he does. Very few can capture a moment so perfectly....and he keeps you thinking about that moment for days to come.....even months. There isn't a single picture that he posts that doesn't leave me shaking my head....one day he's gonna teach me everything he knows! No matter how heartbreaking and "real" some of his images are, Lee always shows so much love and compassion through his photos. Thank you for that Lee....xoxox, K
