My love for photography started when I enrolled in a beginning film course in college; one of the requirements of the class was that we used a 35mm camera. I did not realize until much later how valuable of an experience it was to start out using film despite the popularity of digital media forms. To this day I wish I could go back to using film if it weren’t for the difficulty and expense of purchasing film, the space required for a dark room, and the expensive equipment required. I have fond memories of standing in the pitch black room shaking the developer canister and soaking photos in the dark room chemicals as I witnessed the creation of what my eye saw through the viewfinder; it truly is what made me fall in love with the art.

This portfolio is my way of sharing my love for photography to all who are interested; to all who enjoy or who may be discovering this artistic medium for the first time.
