One of my favorite things is the creative process . I took home economics and sewing in high school in the 60's , in the 70's I learned to quilt. When I made a quilt it was all made by hand, no machine touched it . I actually won 2nd place at the LA County Fair on a quilt in 1980 ! What a surprise that was. After I retiered in 2004 I took classes at the Farrin O'Connor Design Studio in Pasadena where I learned many techniques in metal smithing. I can say I learned most of what I know from there. I learned the art of enameling from Creative Arts Group in Sierra Madre, Calif. Suzie Kutchner is what I would call a master enamelist and wonderful teacher . I am anything but a master !! I love designing and color, I think that is why I center my pieces around a beautiful cabochon or enamel work.
