I am a (neuro-)scientist living in Bern, Switzerland with a huge passion for biology and photography. In macro photography, I see a portal to another universe. I love the unpredictability of macro photography in terms of that you never really know how the picture looks at the end. Little changes in aperture, point of view, light etc. can create a world of its own.

My aim is to rise awareness for the beauty of nature that can be found in the front of our own house door in order to act more carefully with our environment.
