Irish , interested in photograhy since my father gave me a ilford sporti back in the 1970's...followed by huge gap, then olympus trip in the 1990's , small digital in 2000 and rekindled last year when i got a d80.... now shooting everything . trying to get better, but there is so much to learn..and there is so many excellent photographers on flicr to learn from.

Some of my shots feature our dogs and some are adopted/fostered. My 2 children are in there and though my girl dont mind the camera , my son hates it...and my long suffering wife humours me, the dogs dont mind but wont sit still. Other intersets featured here is the sport of Powerlifting, particulary Drug Free Powerlifting while the participants are not the typical of the publics perception of muscle head or weight lifters, they do show that there is a core of people dedicated to the DF ethos. Something i have believed in all my life. So I might not move huge amounts of weight but i will still be doing it as long as i am a mobile human. I also enjoy seeing other people progress in all areas of their life, famly, passions and or course work.
