Just had a glimpse of the end of working BR steam sadly.

25 years in what I will say ''British Rail Workshops Derby Locomotive Works'' (BREL)

Looking back now, envious of the other main workshops as to their various locomotive fleets.

ie the Westerns, Deltics & the vast Crewe works.

Anyway, Now try to take time out to see the every changing Railway scene.

Lets say dabble a bit with Model railways, with my true friend ''Dave'', though meeting up now seems much too infrequent..!

Early life was in Ilkeston on the Erewash Valley. Now lucky as family life is at Alfreton & close to the Railway Line.

Football - Nottingham Forest & participated in the Clough / Taylor glory years as a supporter.

Have a pet Greyhound & 26 year old african ringneck parakeet - Billy.
