I'm a retired school teacher now finding more time for my hobby. I've dabbled in photography for decades but my interest increased substantially when I bought my first DSLR in 2006. Seeing the documentary film "Salt of the Earth" on Sebastiao Salgado was tremendously inspiring to me, as is the work of Ansell Adams, Herman Leonard, Robert Capa, W. Eugene Smith and many others.
