I am a beetle enthusiast, the beauty and verity is amazing!

All the photos are taken with a Canon 5D camera and the lens that a normally use is the Canon MP-E 65mm macro lens. I'm using the stacking technique with about 20 levels. Since my real occupation is in electronics and software development I am in the position to develop the camera system with the stacking software myself, which is a forever ongoing project. That is however not true for my ability to identify most of the beetles up to species level, most of the photos are from unidentified specimens, so any closer identification is always welcome.
