I am retired from the technology world and in my early career I was a pro photographer and in the commercial/industrial/wedding field for 13 years. I also had a frame shop. This was in the film era and I used Hasselblad medium format and various 4x5 view cameras. I was out of the mainstream in photography during my technology world until I discovered digital when the company needed some product and marketing photography. I went back to photography school and learned the new digital world until I retired a few years ago. My photo-art is created digitally using Canon equipment, Wacom Tablet, Corel Painter 2022, Impresso Pro, Lil' Owl textures, and various other digital apps. My finished work on Etsy is printed to canvas and then I hand paint brush oil strokes to the artwork.

Having owned a frame shop results in my using digital mat and frames (although frowned upon on Flickr) to enhance an image. Another excuse for my old school analog mind to relish the digital world. Hope you enjoy my work and your comments/questions are always welcome.

I have two large butterfly gardens and much of my work comes from those flowers and butterflies. I do have an indoor studio for still life and nature set-ups. I am an old barn fanatic and love to find old barns and do digital paintings of them.
