A Buxtonian by birth but now residing in North Somerset. After spending 49 years in the overhead electric travelling crane industry I'm now retired and back into my photography hobby. Initially encouraged into the hobby by my Science Teacher, John Morten, who is along with his Father is quite famous for railway photography and knowledge.

Since retirement we have been touring Europe with our caravan and every couple of years taking in Le Tour De France.

I photograph a wide range of subjects and take part in a few on-line competitions. I have have slowly built up some decent Nikon kit and accessories although I still have my Ilford Sporti, Practice Nova1 and my Pentax Spotmatic F.
