Retired gal living in Ontario Canada.

Interested in photography since a teenager when my maternal grandfather showed me how to use his Kodak 35mm film camera. Spend some important time a few years back with the Professional Photographers of Canada and won some accreditations and acceptances at a national level.

Now, I use my camera for more leisurely shoots, but still love doing portrait work, while my technique is spotty, I love focusing on emotions and the person, making each portrait a statement about the individual(s) in the image.

Very much enjoy Fine Art photography (in which I was accredited) and making an image into a "painting", having always wished I had the talent to paint :)
