I've been an outdoorsman and photographer for most of my life but a bird photographer only the last several years. I just find birds so beautiful and so fascinating; never tire of them and can't imagine the world without them. As a new permanent resident of Petaluma, Calif. I have been haunting the local marshes and coastline and loving it. Am retired now and have shown my work in a gallery or two. Other interests include fly-fishing, hiking, traveling the world and enjoying the local North Bay and Sonoma County art scene.
