It has been 12 years since I joined Flickr and I have truly grown as a photographer. The wonderful relationships that I have made here and the beautiful and exciting work I have had the privilege to view have given me such joy and knowledge that I can't express how much I appreciate being here on Flickr. So many of my wonderful contacts have had a hand in my personal growth. They have always been there to answer questions and give encouragement.
I use to take my camera with me everywhere when I was using a Canon PowerShot SX30 IS. I then bought a Canon 60D and purchased a Canon Macro Lens f 2.8, a Canon 70 - 300mm distance lens and a 2X Extender. I have now sold my Canon 60D and the lenses that went with it because they were too heavy since I had shoulder surgery on March 26th of 2017!! I have purchased a Sony a6000!! With it comes a 16 - 50 mm lens, a 210 mm lens and a 50 mm f 2.8 macro lens!! I am now using a Panasonic FZ1000 because I have Macular Degeneration in both eyes and my eyesight is not as good as it once use to be!! Each year on flickr has been special and I look forward every morning to posting and viewing the new photos of the day. I didn't actually start on Flickr until June, 2011. Updated September 2021!!
