“Photography is an art of observation. It has little to do with what you see and everything to do with the way you see them.” - Elliot Erwitt

I take photos to express myself and to show a new perspective of the way most people would see everyday things. It motivates me when i get recognized by others for my photos or when my friends tell me they greatly enjoy my pictures.

When taking pictures, I use a Nikon D5600 that my parents got me as a gift and sometimes I just use my phone. I like to use the rule of thirds when doing landscape and portrait photography. When doing close-up photography I like to really focus on the point of interest and blur the background. Another technique I use is playing with filters to brighten and sometimes darken the photo to add more interest.

My art is very special and close to me, whether it's photography, singing, playing flute, or just drawing and painting. I like to express myself through my art and it always has a meaning. I like to take photos of things that make me happy and not what people tell me to take pictures of.
