Lieutenant, daughter, sister, wife, Brother Rat, friend, photographer, writer, student, teacher, aspiring professor, and traveler just trying to live up to the roles I'm lucky enough to fill. My take on photography is that it isn't the camera, the skill, or talent in the discipline, but the ability to see people and moments. Anyone can learn to use a camera, but fewer know how to just love looking at life. I'm still learning, but I'm enjoying the view.
