I am cursing the new Flickr rules and mourning the departure of several dear friends from the platform. From Maine to Arizona here in the US, to Canada and various countries in Europe, each one is missed, and in my thoughts.

November 2019:

Oh what a year it has been since I reestablished the profile. Here's to friends new and old, and the fun we have shared.

October 2018:

A fresh start, to an established profile.

A little about myself, I am an average middle aged guy, living an average life; a wife, a mortgage, a dog, adult children, etc. I use Flickr as much as a social media platform, as a photography exhibit. As you will read below, I am not much of a photographer.

As I surf about the web, I've come to realize that not all of us are called to be photographers... some of us are called to be admirers of photographers. As you gaze about my limited gallery, either public or private, I make no claim to being a photographer or the quality of the photos that you will find herein. Rather, I leave the serious photographic efforts to those much more accomplished and talented than I.

To that end, I would be amiss if I did not post a note of appreciation to those with whom I have had the opportunity to correspond. I enjoy our exchanges, and especially appreciate your feedback and insight into a particular photo or photoset that you shared.
