Beauty seeker | Mountain geek | Italian by birth, British by adoption | Architect by trade | Builder of awkwardly complex large things.
I disappear whenever I can into remote corners of the Alps. Can happily spend hours in awe wondering where an old mountain path once led or why it existed at all, fascinated about how people find their way home.
In my element somewhere between a mountain ridge, an old map, music and my fantasizing over "malsane" ideas for hikes I may never do. Or in a room where everyone is trying to build something worthwhile.
Construction-site veteran, spent years on the craziest complex sites as a woman lead | Lived in 4 countries | Accidental storyteller | Occasional Terminator, known aliases include Laser Eyes and Cyborg - mostly because I tend to notice things before everyone else and have a gift for connecting ideas.
More likely to photograph an ibex, a beautiful light, or a stone detail, than shopping.
Amateur photographer, collector of traces, I'd define my images as contemplative, almost archaeological, historical, documentary. There is space, distance, silence, mist. Old paths disappearing. Light arriving. Transitions, journeys, endurance, hope and resilience, memories. All leaving room for the viewer and not shouting: you won't find spectacular summits, adrenaline, achievement. But a 'have you noticed this?'
Curious | More interested in understanding the world than impressing it | Like shared wonder, shared sense of purpose.
Occasional singer and dancer | Love thoughtful conversations, dry humour, humility, fairness | Fan of people who don't confuse kindness, empathy, warmth, and openness with weakness | Not a fan of artisans of illusions/scammers/losers in disguise, those blinded by greed and entitlement | Fan of no bullshit attitude, behavior matters.
If you look at the laws of physics, the universe keeps a permanent record of everything. Have proven over and over that synchronicity is a thing: so smile, sit back, relax and keep shining.
I might have something unusual to say.
