I have been a professional video/film photjournalist working in the New York City area for the last 4 decades. I have worked for a major TV station for 26 of those years. I renewed my interest in still photography, specificaly digital, about five years ago. I have been trying to blend my passion for travel and photography as a way to continue to learn about the world. I try to apply the principals of composition, painting with light , and story telling in my images. My video and film work has been broadcast to millions of people on a nightly basis yet my still photos have untill recently remained private. There is a comfort zone in exposing your professional work. There is more emotional risk, however, in displaying one's private work. I believe that you must take some risks to become better at what you are passionate about. Learning is a lifetime occupation.
