Employed by United Automobile Services/Tees and District/ Teesside Motor Services as a Schedules Clerk then Traffic Support Officer from September 1976 to June 1996 compiling rotas, drivers schedules, vehicle running boards, bus registration applications, timetables/publicity, fare tables, enquiries and mileage records

  

Based at various locations mainly United Head Office on Grange Road Polam Lane in Darlington but also based at various times in Middlesbrough Area Office in the old and new Bus Station and then at Morton Road Darlington

  

Mainly worked on the Teesside and North Yorkshire depots which included Middlesbrough, Stokesley, Redcar. Hartlepool. Loftus, Whitby, Stockton and also Pickering and Scarborough depots before they passed to Scarborough and District

  

When North East Bus was formed which then included United/Tees /TMS also worked on Co Durham and North Yorkshire depots Darlington, Durham, Bishop Auckland, Peterlee, Sunderland, Richmond, Ripon, Northallerton and Thirsk
