been taking photos most of my life, viewing the camera as an extension of the mind's eyes in understanding/appreciating/recalling the external world and personal interaction within it

primary focal interest is nature-oriented

with an attentive eye to the artistry offered up by the organic world

current ongoing project has been capturing the smaller world outside my back door

which affords me the luxury of not having to travel while providing ample opportunity to refine my skills, explore/realize my vision(s), and learn more about and increase appreciation of the diversity of life around me/us
