Iconografía de la gastronomía mexicana.

Esta selección no es ni el atisbo de mostrar la diversidad y variedad de texturas, colores y de arreglos agroalimentarios de carácter biocultural en México.

Esto es el inicio de un proyecto que habrá de construirse a lo largo de varios años más; esta selección reúne fotografías de agosto de 2015 a febrero de 2018, apenas.

Así, se muestran imágenes tomadas por mí desde Yucatán a Jalisco, pasando por Michoacán, Guanajuato, Querétaro, Ciudad de México, Puebla, Veracruz, Guerrero, Hidalgo, Oaxaca y Chiapas.

En estas imágenes se aprecian bebidas y comidas, ingredientes crudos y los mercados donde se comercian, las plantas y los animales que comemos, las manos que los preparan y los hombres y mujeres que saben cómo hacerlo, la presentación de los mismos y los lugares de consumo.

Este es el proyecto: visibilizar la comida tradicional mexicana, la herencia de nuestros antepasados y a quienes hacen de ese patrimonio un modo de vida.

Iconography of Mexican gastronomy.

This selection is not a glimpse of the diversity and variety of textures, colors and agro-food arrangements of a biocultural nature in Mexico.

This is the beginning of a project that will be built over several more years; This selection gathers photographs from August 2015 to February 2018, barely.

Thus, images taken by me from Yucatan to Jalisco are shown, passing through Michoacán, Guanajuato, Querétaro, Mexico City, Puebla, Veracruz, Guerrero, Hidalgo, Oaxaca and Chiapas.

In these images you can see drinks and food, raw ingredients and the markets where they are traded, the plants and animals that we eat, the hands that prepare them and the men and women who know how to do it, the presentation of them and the places of consumption.

This is the project: make visible the traditional Mexican food, the heritage of our ancestors and those who make this heritage a way of life.
