For 38 years, the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery has been a regional leader in child abuse and neglect prevention, dedicated to saving babies' lives, keeping kids safe, and building strong families.

Since 1986, we have provided a safe haven for over 135,000 local children at high risk for child abuse and neglect. Our team works tirelessly, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, to advocate, care for, and address the multi-faceted needs of our community's highest-risk children, preventing abuse before it occurs. The Crisis Nursery has five emergency Respite Centers and 11 Family Empowerment Centers across the St. Louis area.
