My love for wildlife began as a child as I grew up watching wildlife documentaries on PBS with my dad. I remember sitting in the backyard watching robins feed on worms. The song of a red-winged blackbird always takes me back to summers running around barefoot on the farm. Now my time outdoors is golden as it is an escape from the rushed pace of everyday life. I focus primarily on birds but enjoy any wildlife that passes by my lens. I treasure every moment and consider any encounter I have a gift.
