Thank you for visiting. I'm not a photo expert. I just like to take photographs. it's been my hobby most of my life. I just want to have fun. I like looking for birds to photograph but If I see something I like, or find interesting, I shoot it, so you're likely to see most anything here. I don't claim to be good at it. I may use Photoshop a little bit but I'm not really good at it.

I'm inspired by some of the wonderful photos found here on flickr - and I try to learn from you. If I follow you, it's because I like your style. Nowadays I don't get around nor travel much (and I'm lazy) so most photos are local. Some are old and scanned from film taken years ago by me or family.

Why I "Like" photos: I especially like photos that tell a story - or suggest a question - and there are many more reasons that I just can't explain.

Tip: Take lots of photos during your lifetime. Later on, when you want to reflect on life and share with others, you'll be glad you did. I'm not sure if digital will last any longer than film - and who knows what's around the corner with technology - but keep those images any way you can.

PS: When I was 'young', I took few photos - even though I loved to. The reason: Film. Film was expensive (for me) and of course, so was the processing fees. Plus, you never knew your results until way later. Not so now with digital cameras.
