Paul Frank Wagner (born Feb.27, 1970 in Paris, France) is a contemporary French / American artist raised in NYC in the late 70's and 80's his work is strongly influenced by American Minimalism, Arte Povera, and Conceptual Art. In 2005, his work was featured in a Show called" 30 ways to make a painting" with high profile artists Nam June Paik, Allan McCollum, Keith Sonnier, Christo to name a few. In 2009, He had his first solo show at Scope Miami during Art Basel Miami Beach. Today, Paul travels the world creating his unique one-of-a-kind rope painting installations and Ink drawings on paper. In 2014, he co-founded Hoopla Education, (HooplaEducation.com) , a company specialized in creative, sustainable education using natural materials, primarily in Early Childhood Education and wrote "Sticks & Stones" Art Curriculum. Today, he focuses his attention on Arts Education as well as his personal art practice. He currently lives and works in Berkeley, CA. (last updated July 23, 2018)
