/glow worm/

i am candescent girl,

luminescent girl

and i like how

your pink palm-skin

feels on my skin,

but only for a moment, please

admire from afar, please

the moment i spy

the other hand cupping over top

finger cage, suffocate

i will go

didn't anyone ever tell you

that you're not supposed

to keep glow worms

in a jar
