MTA NYCT: Journey Through the System

// walked every NYCT system tunnel as of 12/31/2019 (not that I'll ever be finished in practice)

(edit 7/2021) I decided to update my Flickr to be a nice open collection of many of my more polished tunnel shots (mostly for documentarian purposes). I like having the variety and showing the evolution of my work over time, as well as (wherever possible) the changes in spots around the system over time. I'm limiting the content here mostly to within the NYCT system, though I may occasionally sprinkle in railroad stuff here and there.

In 2020, the hard drive on which I stored my RAW files from all of 2019 died. Stupidly, I had no backups, and as such I no longer have access to the originals for the vast majority of shots I took in 2019--which is a shame because there was some stuff (such as ESA and other ongoing projects) which will never look the same again. On the bright side, it forces me to reshoot everything ;) especially with lenses I've acquired since then and with my newer editing style. That being said, the vast majority of shots on here were taken and edited in 2019. Luckily, I still have JPEG copies of everything that I edited (in Lightroom) at the time.

I'm excluding ESA shots (except those from the 63rd St Tunnel) from here until the project is complete.

Everything after 2018 (and some in late 2018) is shot on Sony a7R II
