Some years ago I started flickring because my husband is a photographer and wanted to show me his photos on flickr.

Immediately I got infected too.... I think phenomenons like flickr (and wikipedia) are internet at it's best !!! And I would even say I found people I would call "friends" on flickr. (It's a pity I lost some of them because they left flickr when flickr started to "censor" photos for Germans by not allowing them to see pics regarded as "not safe" any longer!!!)

BTW: Don't mistake the romantic sounding name ! It comes from the classical film Citizen Kane. The film begins with the tycoon (Orson Welles) on his deathbed whispering 'rosebud'. And it takes the whole film to understand why.
