I'm a 69 yr. old male,native of Florida Married with 2 children

and 3 grandchildren. My interest in photography started in1958 when i bought a plastic camera from sears and learned how to develop and print black and white photos. then moving to the 35mm camera world with an ARGUS C3 and weston light meter. over the years i have used 35mm, 120 film 4x5 sheet B+W as well as color and chromes and

a small no of 8x10 b+w sheet films.

In the mid 90's changing to color darkroom printing only, then to a

mix of digital and film. Presently I do digital only. my camera is a nikon d90 and printers are Epson small and

large format with pigment inks, and dye ink I wonder what will be next.

I had been talking to Jim about going out and shooting some photos with him for awhile. You know I wanted to pick his brain a little. So he calls me and says lets go take some pictures today. Just happens its one of the nicest days we have had in a long time. So I said sure. Of course I`m thinking a couple of miles in any direction. Remember I already said I would go. So Jim says lets go to Cannon beach. Well I sure am glad he didn`t see the look on my face because Canon Beach is about 3 and a half hours away. I just want to say, this is one of the best trips I have been on In a long time. I even heard a few new Jim jokes I hadn`t heard before. I took some pictures that I have never taken before and I ended up learning a thing or two. Thanks Jim P.S. One shot from the trip. www.flickr.com/ph...
