My journey with photography began as a passion in high school and later led to me working as the staff photographer at a music magazine in the 80s. At the same time, I was also the Promotions Director at the record label that owned that publication. I have subsequently spent the last 35 years at various jobs in the music industry. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of working with legendary recording artists such as Crosby, Stills, & Nash and Alice Cooper as well as emerging acts such as the Australian bluegrass band Mustered Courage and the Canadian pop act West End Girls, along with many other recording artists. Along the way, photography took a back seat to my endeavours in the music business. I never stopped photographing life, however, in 2014, that real passion for photography was rekindled while visiting to the Eastern Mediterranean. Upon returning home, I went in search of my own visual voice. Of late, my focus has been drawn to Street Photography. As an avid "people watcher" I find my senses and instincts heightened while looking for the decisive moment to capture.
