My name is Charis Pulei and the about section of this profile is my university application portfolio.

This portfolio is made up of a wide range of my works. From sketchbook pages, that illustrate what I find calming and entertaining to make. To large (and small) scale pieces that carry concept and meaning; often delving into my own thoughts on culture, family, and society.

More specifically in this portfolio, you will see portraiture that looks at mental health, the sense of self and one that evaluates culture, magic, and adulthood. There are also several works that focus on the beauty of the natural human form and promote body positivity. As well as projects that serve as a window into who I am and how I think. I have also included an array of work that focuses on contemporary issues specifically climate change (nature and animals). I have also given a few pieces the exemplify my classwork.
