When travelling the world it always stood out to me how people in different countries and locations dress differently. The question that I always ask is, Why? Climate? Culture? Trends? Religion? There are so many different aspects that alter how we dress ourselves as individuals.

This collection of images was inspired by how location can alter what we wear.

I decided to choose 5 locations throughout London. I chose 5 to really show the contrast between locations and how the cultures of these areas typically dress. When choosing location I realised how vast London is and how I would have to be site specific to make this work. I decided on 2 images for each location. Firstly focusing on the iconic underground signs to portray the location and then heading above ground to explore the versatility of the areas and really home in on how the style of clothing reflects on the locations.

I aimed to style and shoot in contrasting ways to make the collection interesting and no two images the same.
