Croire qu'une photo, c'est le simple produit d'un système optique, d'une ouverture de diaphragme, d'un temps de pose, d'une somme de caractéristiques technique, est une erreur. Une photo, ça se fait aussi avec des sentiments, une certaine idée de la vie. Une bonne photo, ça peut être un hasard, un coup de chance. Mais cent belles photos, c'est le portrait d'un homme.

A travers elles, je dévoile une lumière particulière, souvent en proche infrarouge qui sculpte, joue avec les contrastes et la profondeur. La base de mon travail est l'observation, l’imprégnation de ce jeu particulier afin d'y exprimer ma sensibilité et vous faire découvrir un monde un peu magique mais bien réel, surement cruel, mais particulièrement beau.

To believe that a photo is simply the fruit of an optical system, the opening of a diaphragm, a pose, or just a group of technical characteristics, is an error. A photo is a mixture of feelings, giving the photographer’s image of a certain idea of life. A good photo can just be a lucky break. But hundred beautiful photos give the idea of a man’s personality.

Through these photos, I try to show a particular light, sometimes using infra-red which can sculpt the photos, and play with the contrasts and the depth. The basis of my work is observation, impregnation of images to show my sensitivity and to let you discover a magical side to the real world, often cruel, but particularly beautiful sometimes.
