Born in Rome Italy and Based on Bonaire, Netherland Antilles, Lorenzo Mittiga is an ocean and natural world photographer.

He spends countless hours in the water (or next to it) creating dramatic imagery and artful interpretations of the magnificent ocean environment. From the crystal clarity of the surface or of a breaking wave to the play of sunlight or artificial lights on a deep-ocean depth, Lorenzo brings a unique insider's view to the colours, shapes and textures of the sea.

He got awards and mention from National Geographic, Smithsonian Magazine and other dedicated magazines like Bokeh and Masterclass. He shot for the freediving world recordman Carlos Coste, for JP Australia, Oris Swisse watches, CressiSub, Gaastra Sails and been published on Times UK, The Telegraph UK, Il Messaggero, Men’s health , La Repubblica, Il Subacqueo, Windsurf Magazine and many local and international magazines.

Lorenzo's travels have taken him to Red Sea, Maldives, Australia, Perù, Cuba, Hawaii, Mauritius, Chile, Patagonia, Barbados, California and Florida. He is constantly searching for a memorable adventure, spectacular sceneries and unique images.
