Hi everyone. I’m Donna from Virginia, USA. I enjoy taking photos, but my main hobby is watercolor painting, acrylic and mixed media. However, I really like looking at everyone’s photos, especially landscapes, flowers and old buildings. My Uncle was a still photographer for Penn State University in PA, U.S.A. He later supervised their motion picture studio until he retired. I admire all of you who do this difficult job for a living. When creativity meets the mechanics of the profession, magic is created. Now remember, I am just an average person, but I know what I like and maybe you will enjoy getting some comments from a non-professional with a different perspective.
Also, I am a frustrated writer, so much story telling may occur.

MY mom and DAD went to Penn State Univ,After the WAR , where I was born,WE lived there until DAD sold his FORD Dealership ( SUBURBAN FORD ) in 1958 . WE Watched them build BEAVER STADIUM and were friends with Joe Paterno and his wife !!

Donna is one of the most remarkable people I have ever met. Just get to know her a little and you will see why! She is very perceptive and personally engaged with everyone she interacts with on Flickr in a most attentive and creative way. We met here because of overlapping interests in subject matter (like vines on old buildings) but Donna can look at or present an image that most people would ignore and find a million different angles to peer into the depths of story telling and meaning. It doesn't matter if you are going fiction or non-fiction, she takes the topic and runs with it, and brings a whole crowd of friends and followers along with her. Her own comments and the responses she elicits from the Flickr universe are unpredictable and fun for everyone!

She posts mostly very common ordinary images of old houses, barns, ships and landscapes, what makes her images so exciting is that Donna can find something humourous in all her images. And she answers every comment she receives, which gets sometimes into a discourse between her and the person posting the comment, which often gets far afield from the subject at hand , but the humor she injects makes it very worthwhile. This woman has done much to make Flickr fun again.

If they could talk, they would tell a lot of stories but now they are like "dead" it makes me sad but it's life I do not speak much English, just a few words, I am using a translator on google See you soon on Flickr Michel
