I am a biologist and naturalist extraordinaire who enjoys capturing the beauty of the natural world I study with my camera. Kind of like how some people got really into capturing pokemon on their phones in the middle of busy intersections for a while, if I see some form of wildlife or just general photo-op moments and I have my camera on me I'm going to drop everything to try to catch it.

I am by no means a professionally trained photographer and my equipment is rather old (not the fanciest). As a student I have very little in the way of funds to upgrade my equipment or make epic excursions into exotic locales on a whim. I make the best out of what I have and go where my studies take me (which may happen to be an exotic locale if I'm lucky). Regardless, I am very proud of my photography and hope you enjoy perusing my gallery as much as I enjoy making it.

I try to identify the wildlife I capture however I am an animal biologist so I will often be unable to identify plants and fungi. If you happen to know the identity of something I have not identified or have misidentified let me know in the comments with proof and I will make sure to edit it in!
